Hazel Miller: Friday, 5/16/08 (Funk, R&B, Jazz)
Hazel Miller has been a sought after performer in Colorado for the past 23 years. Whether she is singing blues, jazz, pop or gospel, her voice charges the songs with a primal dose of genuine soul. She has been a regular performer on the ETown Radio Show, which aired on NPR, and opens for Big Head Todd on their national tours.  Hazel has also sung with or opened for many popular performers including Julian Lennon, Peter, Paul and Mary, Herbie Hancock, Lou Rawls, Rickie Lee Jones and James Taylor. Hazel and her band are masters at funk, R&B and jazz and were chosen by the Westword Readers’ Poll as the "Best Blues/R&B" band for three consecutive years.
